Summer 2024 Program Information

This summer, our program will travel to 10 European cities in 1 month. The students, faculty, and staff travel together from city to city, staying in 4- and 5-star hotels. Classes are held at host universities or in the hotel conference centers. We also coordinate professional visits to global companies and organizations, and optional day trips over the weekends. Outside of the program activities, your son/daughter will have free time for cultural visits and weekend excursions.

Health and Safety Abroad

The health and safety of your child is our number one priority. In preparation for the program, we ask each student to complete a medical questionnaire, so that our team can be as informed as possible of any medications, allergies, or medical risks. During the program, we are prepared to respond to any health-related concern. We also offer medical insurance coverage as part of the program fees to ensure that each student is covered for any medical attention they may need to receive while in Europe.

All Forum-Nexus activities are safe and free of any unnecessary risk, and we closely monitor any potential threats to the safety of our group each summer. Since we offer a multi-city program, we have the ability to change our itinerary if necessary. We can shorten our stay in a particular city, or skip it altogether. We strongly recommend that each U.S. student register with the U.S. Department of State’s STEP (Smart Traveler Enrollment Program) for updates and alerts.

During our summer program, we have a 24/7 Emergency Hotline, available to students, faculty, and staff, as well as to parents, relatives, advisors, and friends. The Emergency Hotline can be reached as follows:

  • Phone, text message, or WhatsApp: +1 305-764-2243 (from the U.S. just dial 305-764-2243)
  • E-Mail: hotline@forum-nexus.com
  • If necessary, the front desk of the hotel used in each city will be an additional point of contact.

Forum-Nexus Parent Testimonials

Don’t take it from us - Read what parents of past Forum-Nexus students had to say about our program:

We had some initial concerns [about] traveling to other countries and wanted to understand how the staff was prepared for all possible situations. I was amazed at the quick and personal response our questions received. The communication from Forum Nexus has always been exceptional

- MELISSA H. Mother of Jineane from Pennsylvania, USA

I really liked the program from the start because it covered my daughter's major, communications, which was important to her. During the program I came to better appreciate the resources available with all the personnel traveling with the group. After the program I can see what a significant developmental opportunity this was for my daughter. We have been fortunate to live in a diverse community, but this took the intercultural exposure to a new level. Her self esteem and spirit of adventure increased significantly.

- ELAINE K. Mother of Rachel from Ohio, USA

[Forum-Nexus] was a wonderful program and a great opportunity for our son to see so many cities all over Europe. I'm sure that the skills he learned going through the Forum Nexus [program] will serve him well throughout his life. I had high expectations, and throughout the program they were all confirmed

- ANDREA B. Mother of Libby from Colorado, USA

We were hesitant at first, but quickly realized that it would be a once in a lifetime experience. The support from the Forum-Nexus staff, both before and during the program, assured us that our daughter would be surrounded by others wanting to learn more about other cultures in a safe and friendly environment. We would definitely recommend Forum-Nexus to other families. It exceeded both our daughter's and our expectations. It is a well-run program, and everything about it was positive and enriching.

What a fabulous study abroad program! Forum-Nexus is unique because [it] packs in the best of what study abroad is all about...the opportunity to experience many different cultures and countries, learn at several unique professional organizations, and visit a variety of tourist sites; all while networking with a diverse group of professors and students. I was confident that my daughter was in good hands, with people who had a great deal of experience leading these trips. I was not disappointed.
