How Classes Work

Forum-Nexus courses are built for a fast-paced, multi-city program, allowing students to earn up to 9 academic credits at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

  • Students may enroll in up to three courses. Each course is worth 3 U.S. semester credits (6 ECTS).
  • The program cost includes one 3-credit course.
  • You may add one or two additional courses, for a total of 6 or 9 credits. Each additional course is $1,965.
  • Most students enroll in two academic courses during the program.
  • Classes of regular courses meet on weekday mornings, leaving afternoons and weekends free for travel, cultural exploration, and coursework.
  • All students participate in the International IQ Seminar, included with the program.

We recommend choosing one or two regular courses, with the option to complement them through independent study (SIS) or an internship if it fits your goals.

International IQ Seminar

Included Seminar (Non-Credit)

We define International IQ as the essential level of global knowledge a student needs to present themselves as a cultured and informed individual in an international setting. All Forum-Nexus students participate in the International IQ Seminar, the program's signature academic experience, developed by Dr. Hugo Hervitz.

Through daily sessions, students explore each country's culture, gain insight into European geography and current events, reflect on cross-cultural interactions and receive practical language tips.

Why It Matters

The International IQ Seminar helps students connect what they study in class with what they experience each day and builds essential skills such as:

  • Cross-cultural awareness
  • Communication skills
  • Adaptability

These abilities are highly valued in today's job market, useful in everyday life, and foster greater cohesion and understanding within the program, helping students from diverse cultural backgrounds connect, collaborate, and learn from one another.

My international IQ improved a lot since I've gotten here. I know more about each country.
